Program:
📍 2:30 PM: meeting at the sports field in Benne di Corio (immediately after the Church of San Grato, take the dirt road on the left).
📍 3:00 PM: departure for a walk towards Monte Rolei
The first half (2.5 km) is almost completely flat and truly suitable for everyone. The second half is quite challenging as it winds along the ridge of Monte Rolei up to the 900-meter summit, covering an elevation gain of approximately 360 meters in just over two kilometers. The views offered by this peak are unique, 360 degrees embracing Corio, the plain, and the Lanzo Valleys. The return will follow the same route, so it is not essential for everyone to climb to the top; each person can stop to rest and still enjoy a splendid view while waiting for the group's return.
📍 Approximately 7:00 PM: At the end of the walk, the Proloco di Corio will be pleased to welcome us in the oratory hall, just a few steps from the cars, for a convivial dinner🍽️ (merenda sinoira style, water, wine, dessert, and coffee included).
