To the Laghi Verdi with Lanzotrekking
Saturday, August 29, immerse yourself in the wild Vallone di Servin to discover the Laghi Verdi
Guided by Andrea, you will walk through the wild valley of the rio Paschiet, where the sound of flowing streams is constant. In the first part you will cross larch forests and then reach ancient pastures. The alpine pastures you will encounter are centuries old, built with local wood and stones, skillfully fitted together: it will be an opportunity to tell the story of life in a time now long past.
The Laghi Verdi are two small basins of glacial origin, very evocative, set among enormous blocks of stone. A little further on is the bivacco Gandolfo-Giuliano (2222 m) where a stop for packed lunch will be scheduled. In the afternoon you will instead reach the larger Lago Paschiet.
The descent will take place along a different route, which will lead you back to the hamlet of Li Fré, where the hike will end.
