To mark the 150th anniversary of the Turin-Lanzo railway, on Sunday, July 26, it will be possible to experience an exciting journey back in time aboard a historic train.

The train will depart at 10:20 AM from Torino Porta Nuova station, arriving at 11:44 AM at Lanzo station, with intermediate stops in Venaria Reale and Ciriè.

In Lanzo, it will also be possible to visit the station, featuring exhibitions related to its history, including the one set up inside the prestigious FTC16 historic locomotive.

The return journey is scheduled for 4:52 PM, departing from Lanzo, with an expected arrival at 6:21 PM at Torino Porta Nuova.

During the day, entertainment initiatives will also be scheduled, such as a Vermouth tasting at Lanzo Station, organized by the Comitato Ponte del Diavolo and the Società Storica delle Valli di Lanzo, as well as a market of typical local products, created in collaboration with GAL and CNA, and guided tours with a historical and naturalistic itinerary to discover the town of Lanzo.

On the occasion of the event, there will be a special opening of local museums: the Lanzese Ethnographic Museum of Textile Art, the Museum of Mountaineering History of the Lanzo Valleys, and the "Nicola Grosa" Documentation Center for Contemporary History and the Resistance.
