Learn the trade of the mountain cheesemaker at Alpeggio Menzio

Every summer, the meadows of Pian Benot come alive with goats, sheep, cows, and friendly donkeys: these are the animals of the Menzio family, who also offer educational experiences in close contact with nature at their mountain pasture.

Activities are offered here to discover the true life of a mountain cheesemaker, suitable for all ages, from children to adults, with the possibility of organizing corporate and school team building events.

From the pasture to the cheese, the workshops are designed to tell the story of work in the mountain dairy, from caring for the animals and their grazing diet to milking and transforming the milk into delicious products.

In summer, there is also the opportunity to participate in mycology workshops and wild herb identification and harvesting sessions.
