Just 60 km from Turin, located in the highest part of the unspoiled Val di Viù, surrounded by a mountain chain including the Rocciamelone, which exceeds 3500 meters of altitude, is the ski resort of Usseglio, Pian Benot. It is the ideal place for trips out of town for families in Turin, but also the ideal place for all those who want to spend some days in harmony with nature and with the possibility to practice winter sports. Where the lifts start there is a ski school, equipment for rental, bar services, restaurant, self sevice and rooms to let, a tapis roulant, two easy and medium difficulty ski lifts and the Tumlet chair lift that brings skiers to 2000 meters: It has been completely renovated in recent years giving the opportunity to even the most experienced to try the two black slopes and the long red slope with different gradients.
All slopes are equipped with a modern artificial snow system to ensure countinuous opening in the period between Christmas and Easter, but remember that the ski season can start in November and, with excellent Spring snow, can continue until late April.
