The Lanzo Alpine Club (CAI) has created a new nature trail in the Viù valley starting from Forno di Lemie and ending at the Perinera hamlet of Usseglio
There are 12km without difficulties, passing mostly through woods, suitable for families.
The itinerary is also suitable for horses and mountain bikes. An easy route along which it is possible to admire votive pillars and pass through characteristic hamlets, follow antique mule tracks still in good condtion and cross wooden bridges over the Stura river.
Informative panels have been placed along the trail showing the entire route with arrows that indicate the paths to follow.
At the Tourist Information Office of the Lanzo Valleys it is possible to obtain a folder with maps of all the routes.
For lovers of touring on bicycles in possession of a bicycle with assisted pedaling, these can be charged up in Lemie and Usseglio.
At the bar Costafiorita in Usseglio it is possible to rent mountain bikes and make use of an equipment centre for small repairs.
