The Autumnal Food and Wine Review has come round again this year, dedicated to rediscovering the traditional flavours of this season. The review is composed of various appointments at the restoration venues of our association. We invite you to participate in large numbers!

The first ‘not to be missed’ appointment is the weekend of 28th and 29th September 2019 “Aperibike in the colours of Autumn” at the ‘Bar Costafiorita’ in Usseglio. Take note of the date!

Here is a list of the next appointments:

-> Saturday 5th October “Prelude to Autumn” – a dinner at €33 with a fixed menù, all inclusive (vegetarian variants on request) – at the Città di Ciriè Refuge, Balme.

-> Saturday 12th October “Trout dinner” at €25 with a fixed menu at the ‘La Masina’ farmhouse – Balme.

-> Saturday 19th October “Approach to tasting and knowing the ‘Toma di Lanzo’ cheese”.  Tasting at €10 with various kinds of toma and water – at 17.00 in the Città di Ciriè Refuge – Balme, organised by the Association of Toma Producers of Lanzo.

-> Sunday 20th October “Castagne e Chintane” (chestnuts and sidestreets) – lunch at €28 with a with a menù based on chestnuts at the Les Montagnards Refuge – Balme.

-> Saturday 26th October “La Tufeia” – lunch or dinner based on pork meat, all inclusive, at the Salvin Farm Refuge – Monastero di Lanzo.

-> Sunday 3rd November “Bagna Cauda” – a dinner at €25 at the restaurant ‘Il Caminetto’ Margone, Usseglio

-> Saturday 9th November “Fritto misto alla Piemontese”, a dinner at €30 including wine tasting in the Prever di Villarbasse wine cellar at the Colle del Lys Refuge – Viù.

-> Saturday 23rd November “Bollito Misto alla Piedmontese” (a mix of boiled meats, Piedmontese style), a dinner at €30 with an all inclusive menù at the Ala Silla restaurant – Ala di Stura.

-> Saturday 30th November “Tutt’Antipasti Autunnali” ( all the starters of Autumn) a dinner at €30 with local products and wine included – at the Grand Hotel Ala di Stura – Ala di Stura.
