It is a centuries-old mountain hotel between Piedmont and Savoy where celebrities such as the poet Giosuè Carducci, the actress Eleonora Duse and Margherita di Savoia, queen of Italy stayed, in the dreamy belle époque atmosphere, for their vacation.
